Any word on whether the Fairmont Pac Hotel will block the view of the Marine Building from Burrard Inlet?

Looking at the Development Permit Board minutes (under the header "Comments from other Speakers") it appears that the Fairmont Pacific will indeed wind up blocking the residents' views as high as the 25th floor, at least. Presumably, this will block views of the Marine Building as well.

Thanks for checking into it. Hopefully you can post about this issue in the future. One of the great joys of taking the Seabus into downtown Vancouver is seeing the profile of the Marine Building backdropped against a skyline of otherwise modern steel and glass. It will be a shame if one of the world's great architectural gems is concealed by the FP hotel. I'm surprised the good folks at Heritage Vancouver haven't spoken out on this...
