Much to the delight of Vancouver's yahoo community (ie. those imbeciles who like to clap and shout whenever someone breaks a glass in a crowded restaurant), most of the old Woodwards building underwent a moderately spectacular demolition this past weekend.
Construction of the new Woodwards development is set to begin by early 2007, with completion scheduled for 2009.
