Although there's not much new to report about the Convention Centre expansion project, you can always check in on their webcam, to get a sense of how construction is coming along.
Based on these grabs, it's apparent that much of the building's foundation has by now been poured, and that the frame is starting to rise on the far eastern part of the site.

The story mentions how the VCC has already started to book new convention business for its expanded facilities, with the US Pediatric Academic Sciences being the first group to sign up for meetings in 2010 and 2014.


Wow ! wouldn't be better idea, if the government of bc use this expenses for other mandatory projects such as bridge corridor to the sunshine coast ? Imagine ! how many british columbians would have benefited if a major bridge had been designed
